•The Dry Eye App is a mobile application for the self-assessment of symptoms and severity of dry eye disease. The app guides you through an easy questionnaire to assess your subjective symptoms. In addition, it allows a test of tear film function that can be performed on the device. The results are integrated into the questionnaire and in one glance show if the subject is likely to have dry eye, and if so, to what extent.

•The app was created to be used directly by consumers, but it can also be used in more professional settings such as pharmacies or GP surgeries where health professionals may not necessarily be experts on dry eye disease.
